Masters of Deceit: The Government’s Propaganda of Fear, Mind Control & Brain Warfare

by
“It is the function of mass agitation to exploit all the grievances, hopes, aspirations, prejudices, fears, and ideals of all the special groups that make up our society, social, religious, economic, racial, political. Stir them up. Set one against the other. Divide and conquer. That’s the way to soften up a democracy.”― J. Edgar Hoover, Masters of Deceit The U.S. government has become a master of deceit. The CIA might also make the same claim it did when it last successfully sought an extension of time for secrecy — that Covid continues to prevent it from examining the 50-year-old records to see if disclosure would present a danger to “national security.” Regardless, one thing is crystal clear to me: The CIA’s records that remain to be released will not include its records relating to its taking control over the Abraham Zapruder film on ...

Lessons from Biden’s Disinformation Board Debacle

by
President Biden’s campaign to banish (or maybe outlaw) political paranoia took a wallop last spring. In April, the Department of Homeland Security proudly announced that it had created a new Disinformation Governance Board. The following month, the board’s chairman resigned, and Biden administration officials claimed the board was being “paused.” But it remains in the wings awaiting the White ...
