I’m on the road today with FFF Vice President Sheldon Richman. Today is the first leg of our latest Libertarian Angle Live tour, which we are doing in conjunction with the Young Americans for Liberty, a nation-wide student organization devoted to libertarianism.
We are psyched!
We kick off the tour at Grove City College, which I have wanted to visit for a long time. When I first discovered libertarianism some 35 years ago, I read many books by Hans Sennholz, who was head of the economics department at Grove City. I also got to meet Hans and listen to his lectures at two seminars I attended at The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE). Later, when I went to work at FEE as program director, I got to work with him. Hans was truly a libertarian giant. He was one of the few people to earn his doctorate under Ludwig von Mises. He had a big impact on my life. It will be a nice experience to be on the campus where he influenced so many students in the direction of Austrian economics and libertarianism.
Keep in mind that our program is not limited to students. If you are in the area of any of our venues this week, we would love to have you join us. Feel free to bring friends. We promise a fun intellectual evening. And it’s free!
