Dear Friends of FFF:
I am writing to see if you will help us renew one of our most successful programs for spreading the word our radio-outreach program.
Last year, through the generous support of our donors, we retained a public-relations firm to secure appearances for us on radio-interview shows, which enabled us to share our ideas on freedom with people all across the country. We made more than 60 radio appearances, both national and local, discussing libertarian ideas and philosophy, especially in the context of the burning issues of the day Social Security, socialized medicine, federal spending, the war on terrorism, the drug war, Iraq, and many others.
We very much want to renew this important program but we need generous support to do so.
The federal government is leading our nation in a very wrong and destructive direction, both in domestic and foreign affairs. But no trend is inevitable. Ideas are powerful. Ideas on freedom can ultimately move our nation in a better, freer, and more prosperous, peaceful, and harmonious direction.
We are working hard here at The Future of Freedom Foundation to achieve this, primarily through countless commentaries in Freedom Daily, our website, our FFF Email Update, and our op-ed program in more than 250 newspapers all across the nation.
But it is not enough we want to do more. As powerful as the pen is, it cannot match the spoken word for capturing our passion, commitment, and enthusiasm for libertarian ideas.
To secure 510 radio appearances per month will cost us approximately $3,000 per month, or $36,000 over twelve months.
