A regular columnist for Forbes.com, George is director of editorial content for the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal. He was book review editor for The Freeman for six years. His articles have appeared in Reason, the Cato Journal, the Detroit News, and others. George is also a longtime contributor to FFF’s monthly journal Future of Freedom.
The title of George’s talk is “Liberty in America — Are We Past the Point of No Return?”
Radley reports on criminal justice, the drug war, and civil liberties for the Washington Post. He is the author of Rise of the Warrior Cop: The Militarization of America’s Police Forces. His work has received many awards, including the Western Publications Award for Best News Story, L.A. Press Club Journalist of the Year, the Innocence Project Journalism Award, and the Bastiat Prize for Journalism. Longtime supporters of FFF will recall the great presentation he did at a conference that FFF held at Morgan State University, an HBCU.
The title of Radley’s talk is “America’s Worst Law: How AEDPA Corrupted the Criminal Justice System.”
