A fantastic new documentary on the JFK assassination has just appeared on Paramount Plus. It is entitled “JFK: What the Doctors Saw.” I cannot recommend this documentary too highly. Paramount Plus has a 7-day free trial period. Subscribe and watch this 1 and 1/2 hour film. I am certain that you will not be disappointed.
Click here to watch a CBS video report posted a couple of days ago about this new documentary, which includes a trailer to the film. The CBS report on the film calls it a “powerful new documentary.”
The documentary revolves around what treating physicians at Parkland Hospital in Dallas who treated President Kennedy immediately after the assassination maintained the rest of their lives: that the president had an entrance wound in the front of his neck and a massive exit-sized wound in the back of his head, both of which are contrary to the official narrative of the assassination, which holds that all shots were fired from the rear of the president.
This issue should sound familiar to longtime readers of my work on the JFK assassination, especially my two books The Kennedy Autopsy and The Kennedy Autopsy 2. As I have long maintained, the evidence establishes beyond a reasonable doubt that the military establishment conducted a fraudulent autopsy on the very evening of the assassination. The fraud included, but was not limited to, a fraudulent autopsy photograph showing the back of JFK’s head to be intact. In other words, the military’s photograph contradicts what the Dallas doctors maintained.
The power of this new documentary is that the filmmakers actually present the Dallas doctors, both individually and collectively in a group, describing exactly what they saw. The film also points out that Parkland was one of the finest trauma hospitals in the country. It specialized in gunshot wounds and other trauma-related wounds. The physicians who treated Kennedy had previously treated hundreds of patients with gunshot wounds. When it came to gunshot wounds, they were all expert physicians.
The documentary also details the Dallas physicians’ recollections of how a team of Secret Service agents, at least one of whom was brandishing a Thompson submachine gun, forced its way out of Parkland with the president’s body, over the vehement objections of Dr. Earl Rose, the Dallas County Medical Examiner. Rose steadfastly told them that Texas law required him to conduct the autopsy, given that this was a murder case under Texas state law. You will see Dr. Robert McClelland describing how one of the Secret Service agents physically picked Dr. Rose off his feet, carted him to a nearby wall, and wagged his finger in his face.
Keep in mind something important: The federal government, including the Secret Service, the FBI, and the military establishment, had no jurisdiction whatsoever over this crime. At that time, it was not a federal offense to assassinate the president. It was a murder case under Texas state law.
One of the most striking aspects of the film was a statement by Dr. McClelland — a statement that I never knew about until I saw this film. After the president was declared dead, two of the treating physicians, Dr. Malcolm Perry and Dr. Kemp Clark, held a press conference, during which Perry stated three times that the wound in the front of JFK’s neck was an entrance wound, which would mean a shot fired from the president’s front, which was contrary to what became the official narrative of the assassination. In the documentary, Dr. McClelland states: “When he left the room, someone came up to him who Dr. Perry thought maybe was a Secret Service man. And he told Dr. Perry, you must never, ever say that that was an entrance wound again if you know what’s good for you.”
Imagine that! It corroborates (along with the forcible removal of the body from Parkland) that the cover-up, which I detail in The Kennedy Autopsy and The Kennedy Autopsy 2, was launched even before the military began its fraudulent autopsy later that evening at the Bethesda Naval medical facility in Maryland.
Another striking aspect of the film is described in this excellent review of the film: “The documentary also shows the doctors’ reactions to the government-released photos of JFK’s body after he was transported to D.C. — which showed him without the gaping wound. Despite the discrepancies, the doctors remained silent. Said Joe Goldstrich, who was a 4th-year medical resident at the time he helped treat the President, ‘I didn’t want to be a target for those that had killed our president. So I didn’t tell anybody for over 30 years that I was present in Trauma Room 1.'”
This powerful documentary prominently features commentary by Douglas Horne, who served on the staff of the Assassination Records Review Board and who is the author of the watershed 5-volume book Inside the Assassination Records Review Board. Longtime readers of my work and longtime supporters of The Future of Freedom Foundation will easily recognize Horne’s name. I dedicated The Kennedy Autopsy to him, especially given that my book is intended to be an easy-to-read synopsis of his book. I also dedicated my newest book An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story to him, not only because of his unwavering dedication to truth but also because he helped me so much with that book. It is clear that I am not the only one who holds Horne in high esteem. Obviously, so does the director of this powerful new documentary, Barbara Shearer.
I cannot recommend Horne’s book too highly. I consider it to be a watershed book about the JFK assassination. It was what caused me to become convinced beyond a reasonable doubt of the criminal culpability of the national-security establishment in the assassination of President Kennedy. That’s because there is no innocent explanation for a fraudulent autopsy. It automatically equates to guilt in the assassination itself.
I would be remiss if I failed to point out the powerful book that Horne wrote for FFF and the excellent oral presentations that he has made for FFF, as follows:
