If you’re going to be at FreedomFest in Memphis this week, I would like to invite you to the two programs I’ll be doing. If you’re still not registered but able to make it as this last minute, you can receive a $50 discount by using the code FUTURE50.
My first program:
Friday, July 14, at 5:30 pm on the Main Stage in East Hall
Open Borders Mock Trial
This is certain to be one heckuva hoot. It’s going to be a criminal trial in which the advocates of open borders are being criminally prosecuted. That means me! And also Bryan Caplan, another open-borders advocate. And weirdly, also our criminal-defense attorney, Catherine Bernard!
I’ve known Bryan for years and he is a super great guy and also a super-smart guy. He is an economics professor at George Mason University, whose economics department is the premier free-market/Austrian economics departments in the country. Bryan has long been an advocate of open borders. I highly recommend purchasing his fantastic graphics novel Open Borders: The Science and Ethics of Open Borders.
Both Bryan and I will be witnesses at our trial. Our direct examination will be conducted by Catherine, who is one of the country’s most accomplished criminal-defense attorneys. Her law firm, Bernard and Johnson, is based in Atlanta.
As I indicated above, a really weird aspect of this particular trial is that Catherine, who is our attorney, is also being prosecuted for supporting open borders. Like Bryan and me, she plans to plead not guilty.
Bryan and I will be cross-examined by the prosecuting attorney, Larry Elder, best-selling author and the host of the popular “The Larry Elder Show,” which is heard daily in all 50 states and more than 300 stations. We aren’t too worried given that Larry isn’t a a lawyer and, therefore, will obviously have no idea of what’s he’s doing.
After we finish testifying, the case will then be turned over to the jury, whose verdict, in a clear violation of long-established principles of criminal justice, will be by simple majority vote rather than by unanimous vote!
I hope you will attend and root for the good guys. But if there is a serious miscarriage of justice and the three of us are convicted, I will consider it an honor and a pleasure to serve out my time with Bryan and Catherine at Gitmo.
My second program:
Saturday, July 15, at 2:10 p.m. in Ballroom D (Breakout session)
“The JFK Assassination: How the Military’s Fraudulent Autopsy on Kennedy’s Body Led to the Truth.”
No conspiracy theories here. Just a plain, ordinary examination of the evidence establishing that the national-security establishment performed a fraudulent autopsy on President Kennedy’s body on the very evening of the assassination. See my books The Kennedy Autopsy and The Kennedy Autopsy 2. As I have long maintained, there is no innocent explanation for a fraudulent autopsy. It necessarily means criminal culpability in the assassination itself. I’ll have several copies of my newest JFK-assassination book An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story for sale at a super-discounted price. ($5 instead of $14.95 on Amazon.)
FFF Exhibit Table:
Liberty Hall, T-14
We’ll have lots of free FFF books at our exhibit table.
I hope to see you all there. It should be a fun-packed FreedomFest week in Memphis!
